Michelle Emmert has taught 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th grades over her 13 years in the classroom.  She also has 2 years of administration experience and holds a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Abilene Christian University and a Master's of Education from Texas Wesleyan University.  Mrs. Emmert enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons.  Her personal time is spent scrapbooking, walking or volunteering in church and community events.  This year, Ms. Emmert intends to give students as many learning experiences as possible while working to make them successful in the "subjects of life".   Her goal is for each child to encounter new experiences, draw from old ones and together achieve a higher level of learning.
