Sharon Barton
comes to Ashley's Private School with 22 years of business and graphic arts
experience. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from
the University of Texas at Arlington in Marketing and Management, and has
Graduate course work in Advertising Art from the University of North Texas.
She has also taken numerous courses in Graphic Design, Layout Design and
Desk-top Publishing.
Ms. Barton has
a 17-year old step-daughter, a 5-year old son, and a 4-year old daughter.
Her hobbies include drawing, sewing, remodeling, doing crafts, hunting, and
camping. Her spare time is spent with her family, usually chasing the
children around to some kind of sporting event. She also likes spending time
with their families' three German Shorthaired Pointer dogs. Her goal is to
teach all her students art appreciation, as well as, explore their
imaginations, and develop their creativity, in order to express themselves
using various tools and mediums. In other words, she wants to bring out the
artist in each of them.
